Exhibit « Summers on Lake Memphremagog »

This exhibit will include paintings, sculptures, photographs, jewellery, papiers mâchés, woodwork, sculptures + other hand crafted objects created on the theme of Lake Memphremagog. Informative panels on the life of the lake, historic photographs, the largest brown trout ever recorded caught, along with models of boats that once criss-crossed Lake Memphremagog will expand our knowledge of these "beautiful waters", so central to the population of the eastern townships, from the Abenakis who settled around the lake, to the present day.

Vernissage: Saturday April 15 – 3 pm to 5 pm

Paul Carignan, of Abenaki origin, will give a talk about the Abenakis and Lake Memphremagog on June 3, 2017. Details will be announced at a later date.

The book launch of Memphremagog II by Louise Abbott will take place at the Studio on June 25, 2017. Details to be announced at a later date.
