Orford Township
Although for a long time it remained uninhabited due to its mountainous area, today this municipality is a favorite spot for vacationers with several prominent resort hotels. In addition, Mont Orford Park offers a wide variety of activities.
Magog
Magog was founded at the end of the 18th century. The economy then was built on the wood industry. The arrival of the textile mills (1884) changed the face of this little village into that of a city. In 2002. Magog merged with Canton de Magog and the village of Omerville. Today its economy is diversified and the population enjoys an exceptional quality of life in an inviting environment. Its panoramic roads are among the most beautiful and provide, at times a view of Lake Memphremagog and many affluent homes bordering the lake, while at other times a view of historic monuments such as the Saint-Benoit-du-Lac Abbey.
