Éric Garand of Plaisir Gourmand;
Éric Garand began his chef training at the Centre de Formation Marie-Rivier in Drummondville and then at the ITHQ. He perfected his culinary craft at two reputable establishments in France: the Auberge de la Forêt de Sable d’Olone near Larochelle, then at the Le Choiseul restaurant in Val-de-Loire, recipient of two Michelin stars. In 2004, Eric achieved a dream: the opening of Plaisir Gourmand. In an 1860 country home in Massawippi, a village in the Municipality of Hatley, Eric and his wife, Jinny, offer you creative cuisine that promotes Quebec products.
Olivier St-Arnaud of Estrimont;
Olivier St-Arnaud is a young, dynamic and passionate chef. He travelled Quebec to perfect his knowledge. He has won numerous prizes and competitions, including the Meilleur Apprenti Cuisinier du Québec (best apprentice chef in Quebec). He has been the Executive Chef since 2010 at the Hôtel Estrimont Suites & Spa. He draws his inspiration from fresh ingredients. He stays up to date with the culinary trends to surprise his customers and offer original, flavourful, and always perfectly presented recipes.
Roland Ménard of Hovey Manor;
Roland Ménard is a devotee of authentic cuisine. He has been at the helm of the Hovey Manor since 1987. He has won several awards over the years, and has also maintained the Hovey Manor’s four diamond rating from the CAA. As well, it appears in the top ten of the 100 best Canadian restaurants in Wine Access magazine. He offers a reinterpretation of traditional dishes and likes to work with regional producers and wild produce to promote Quebec cuisine.
